A little bit about Nana, Kokwe and Polish’d…

My name is Nana Amobi and my business partner is Kokwe Amegavie. We have been friends for a little over two decades. We both love the the finest things in life like fashion and beauty. We are both open minded and embrace change and create opportunities with our individual creativity. We love nails, color , pedicures and all the fun things that come with grooming. There’s a level of excitement we get when we see a well groomed male or female. Nothing like looking polished or well kept. Having both worked in the corporate world, excelling in our roles as employees and helping CEO’s achieve their millions we decided to turn that energy or drive into our passion which led to the creation of Polish’d Nail and Beauty Bar.

Polish’d Nail and Beauty bar is a visual representation of our world and our friendship. We built an experience based on places we love and the type of service we’d love to receive when getting pampered. Polish’d Nail and Beauty Bar is a nail salon that offers affordable and competitive prices in a luxurious and contemporary relaxing atmosphere.

Favourite Thing About Being Entrepreneurs…

Our favorite things about being entrepreneurs apart from being our own bosses and managing our own time, is the ability to enhance peoples lives on a daily basis. There’s such a great sense of fulfillment in setting and achieving goals related to the growth of our company. Additionally, Polish’d provides unique employment opportunities for people in Ghana to find work as estheticians, in a volatile market.

Greatest Achievement With Polish’d Thus Far…

Our greatest achievement with Polish’d so far is the consistent growth. We are operating in a highly saturated market so to be able to do what we do daily and have about 70% growth in the last year on top of the 85% retention rate of our existing customers is fulfilling and only by the grace of God.
